Swing Repair relies on advanced computer vision impact detection. By monitoring the live stream for body movements, the app automatically clips the perfect window of video, processes it, and speaks vocal feedback straight into your headphones without you ever having to step away from the ball.

Do you use AI to analyze the golf swings?

Yes. Swing Repair utilizes state of the art on device computer vision and machine learning models to detect human pose landmarks. The app instantly maps key body coordinates, like your shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles, directly from the video frames. By processing everything locally using your device's built in Neural Engine, the app can calculate exact geometric angle changes and lateral movements instantly.

Where is my swing video and biomechanical data stored?

Your data privacy is fundamental. All swing metrics, analysis histories, and video assets are stored locally right on your device. We do not store your data in the cloud or on external servers. Your training history and clips remain completely personal to you and private on your phone.

Can I analyze videos that were recorded outside of the app?

Yes! Alongside the live range mode, the app includes an Asynchronous Import feature. You can select any past swing video directly from your camera roll, select the club type you used, and let the background analytics engine pull out the exact same core biomechanical posture breakdowns.
